Greetings from the members of the Sambhunath Sreemany Memorial Trust and the Management of Narmada High School - a School with a difference where learning aims at developing the whole person; based on praise and encouragement; Where diversity is valued and differences are celebrated; where students learn to give their best with honesty and integrity, courage and confidence and take the responsibility for self-discipline.

Narmada High School is affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education, and the W.B. Council for Higher Secondary Education. Classes are held from Nursery I to Class XII in two shifts, with English as the medium of the instruction. Each unit of the school, the Lower-Primary, Primary,Secondary and Higher Secondary, has a distinct quality of its own uniquely blending the normal school system with special teaching techniques to enable students realise their dreams.

Apart from giving the pupils a rock solid foundation to their academics, the school also provides extensive support through various methods in preparing them for different competitive examinations that might be the Gateway to their dream Careers in life with major thrust on science.

"Tell me and I?ll forget; Show me and I may remember; Involve me and I?ll understand said Confucius." This exactly was my pleasant experience the moment I stepped into Narmada High School to lead a group of bright people ? teachers and staff ? to take the school forward on its Mission. I had no difficulty at all to fall into their steps ;such was the involvement all around.

The school runs in two shifts with the seniors in the afternoon exuding all eagerness and curiosity to enhance their knowledge-base. The Lower Primary and Primary kids are as bubbly and cheerful as one expects them to be; ever dependent on their Teachers to show them the way.

On the whole, we all have a dream to achieve ? to open the floodgates of knowledge for the young Scholars; to let opportunities unfold; to mould and groom the budding Stars of tomorrow, to shape and leave a mark on the map of our Motherland as its waters flow into Eternity.
