St. Paul’s Mission School, an Anglo Indian Christian Missionary School, was started by the women members of St. Paul’s Cathedral, Kolkata. In 1884 the foundation stone of the school was laid at 5, Scott Lane, Kolkata 700009, by the Lady Carmichael. The school today is owned and controlled by the Diocese of Calcutta, Church of North India, headed by the Rt. Rev. Ashoke Biswas, Bishop of Calcutta and Chairman of the Board of Governors. Rev. Abir Adhikari is the Honorary Secretary, Mrs. Sanchita Biwas is the Principal and Mr. Charles Joseph Nyss is the Vice Principal. The school is a large, modern and well equipped co-educational institution catering to students from Nursery to Class XII.

Admission Info

Criteria for admission to class XI [for internal candidates only]
1. Applicants for admission to the Science stream must have a minimum of 50% in Science and Mathematics and 50% in the aggregate of all subjects.
2. Applicants for admission to the Commerce stream [with Mathematics] must have a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and 50% in the aggregate of all subjects.
3. Applicants for admission to the Commerce stream [without Mathematics] must have 50% in the aggregate of all subjects.

Criteria for admission to class XI [for external candidates only]
1. Applicants for admission to the Commerce stream [with Mathematics] must have a minimum of 60% in Mathematics and 50% in the aggregate of all subjects.
2. Applicants for admission to the Commerce stream [without Mathematics] must have 50% in the aggregate of all subjects.
3. Candidates shortlisted for Science stream will be required to sit for a written test in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
4. Candidates shortlisted for the Commerce stream will be required to come for an interview along with their parent.
