Sammilani Mahavidyalaya is a growing institution catering to the needs of a locality which is being developed in a planned way. Since it is young, there us enough scope for implementing innovative and creative ideas keeping in view the demands of time. The main objective of the administration is to facilitate academic activities as effectively as possible. No ?administrative bottleneck? should stand in the way. We have to train up the workforce in a befitting manner. We need to realize that an academic administration grows like a tree. Hence we are required to strike a balance between discipline and freedom. Flexibility is essential, but it should not be allowed to disturb the academic and administrative harmony. On this occasion, I convey my best wishes to all the members of the college community.

Admission Info

The Admission to the courses takes place during the month of June, soon after publication of the results of H.S. Examination of W.B. Council of H.S. Education, I.S.C. and C.B.S.E. candidates will also receive application forms at the same tome. The College admits students to the first year Degree Courses on the basis of Calcutta University Norms and Departmental Stipulations of the College.Documents to be submitted at the time of Admission :a) Duly filled in Admission Form.b) Two recent passport size Photographs. c) Proof of Date of Birth [attested copy of Admit Card of Madhyamik or eqivalent Examination]. Original Crtificates are to be produced at the time of admission. d) Attested Copy of Marksheet of Madhyamik or eqivalent Examination. e) Attested Copy of Marksheet of Higher Secondary or eqivalent Examination. f) Attested Copy of SC/ST Certificate is to be produced at the time of admission. g) Migration Certificate (in original) for a migrating student. h) Students getting transferred from other colleges are to produce original Transfer Certificate.
