Admission Info

After publication of Higher Secondary result, college issues notification regarding admission to different courses offered by the college. Combinations of subjects are determined by the college authority in accordance with the rules of Calcutta University. There is a reservation of 22% of available seats for SC candidates and 6% for ST candidates besides reservation for physically handicapped students. If number of applications for any stream/ course / subject exceeds approved number of seats, admission of students are made strictly on the basis of merit. In some subjects, as per decision of subject teachers and academic/admission sub-committee, admission test can be taken. Documents required at the time of admission are 1. Original H.S.(or equivalent) mark sheet with two photocopies duly attested by school headmaster / headmistress / principal. 2. Original admit card of Madhyamik(or equivalent) with a photocopy ( for age verification ), 3. Two copies of passport sized photograph and one copy joint photograph of candidate and his/her guardian 4. Proof of Income of family / guardian, 5. Migration certificate in original for candidates from boards other than West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. All admissions are provisional pending final verification of information furnished by a candidate and his/her registration by Calcutta University.
