"It gives an immense pleasure in welcoming to Dwijendralal College. The college has been successfully playing the role of spreading utmost knowledge since all these years from the year of establishment. We are glad to work towards the development of education in the suburbs of Krishnanagar, West Bengal. Since the day it started its journey, the college has achieved some remarkable milestones. This college is recognized under section 2(f) and included under section 12 (B) of UGC Act 1956, vide letter number UGC/3511-52L-8 dated 31/03/1993. In the initial stage the college was affiliated to the University of Calcutta. Later, in the year 1999 it got affiliation to the University of Kalyani. In the year 1993 the college was renamed as Dwijendralal College in order to pay its homage to the great poet and freedom-fighter Dwijendralal Roy, and also to reveal the fact that it will act as a multi-discipline college from now on.

The college aims at developing all round personality development leading towards excellence career by paying attention to every individual student. The College happily works together towards sound academic achievement with an extensive, vibrant co-curricular programme that includes sports, and leadership training programmes. On the deeper note, the college always tries to instil the values of respect and trust which are the foundation towards achievement of real success."
