Central Model School, Barrackpore, a day Boarding co-educational English Medium school, a unit of Angel Education Society, affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, was established in the year 1990 with an idea of believing in the dignity and worth of each student; and recognizing his or her responsibilities to his fellow beings in the community.     This is in conformity with the motto of the school  -    " Light more Light ".  CMSBKP, a school with a difference, is situated beside the serine atmosphere of the River Ganges. The school campus has a spacious building surrounded by green luxuriant trees, gardens, Children Park and a huge playground. Serenity and calmness prevails in the whole atmosphere of the campus providing ideal atmosphere for the development. Amidst the extensive playing fields and campus, the school-building stand sensitively designed to accommodate the most modern school facilities, the needs of growing children and the traditions of local art and architecture. We have created an environment, which is aesthetically pleasing and conducive to both knowledge and play.

In this context of value education we are very much keen to do something for the better. We are very much happy and proud of that our education is directly guided by CBSE curriculum and plan.

The implementation of CCE up to X is the revolution in the field of traditional education. The continuous and comprehensive education is now a plan and process where each and every area of interest will be assessed & recorded

To CMSB all children are the most beautiful gift of God. They are naturally motivated to learn and are capable of learning. Our duty is to motivate them properly. The development of a society, nation or people is closely related to its educational attainment. Therefore we are very much concerned about the matter and trying our level based to improve the moral value and social responsibility of the students along with educational improvement
