Envisioned to promote higher education among the boys and girls of Bhadreswar and surrounding villages, persons of different communities and three local Municipality viz, Bhadreswar, Champdany, Baidyabati took an avowed aim to establish a center of higher learning viz, a college in Bhadreswar. And the net outcome is the emergence of Kabi Sukanta Mahavidyalaya in December 6, 1986. The Pioneers in the field of establishing this College definitely got an extra momentum when Purbanchal Mulipurpose Co-operative Colony Society Ltd. come ahead to donate two bighas land on Which our institution shines in its lonesome beauty.

The onward march of this institution has started since last 25 years only, it is yet to move on and traverse a long way if it is to live up to the glorious heritage4 of any prestigious College.

Principal's Desk

I felt extremely elated when our College had its own website. But willingly or unwillingly, nothing special concerning my own reactions had been inserted into it.

Now, the website has rolled into some years since its inception. Really I feel excited to say something not about me but about my mission directed towards my loving students. Instead of imparting moral preaching to them I will say only one thing from my desk: choose your career right from the beginning from your student life at this centre of higher learning. Be guided by your teachers, guardians and well wishers around.
