Shamayita Covent School was founded by our most Revered Prabhuji on 18th July 1996. The school is a part and parcel of the mother organsation, Shamayita Math. Shamayita Math (NGO) is a philanthropic spiritual organisation of women, founded by our most Revered Prabhuji.

Shamayita Covent School, an English Medium School only for girls (now the school is having boys’ section upto Class-VI) had been established to serve as a platform for the emancipation of women, including those from the rural background communities

The school is being run with the blessings of Prabhuji and under the able guidance of the mothers of Shamayita Math. The school was started with twenty students in the nursery class. Subsequently, each class was upgraded every year.
At the beginning classes were held in the classrooms scattered throughout the campus. Then the one-storeyed new school building was constructed in the separate school campus. The classes were shifted to the new school building which was inaugurated in the year 2004. Gradually, the number of students increased and the school building started going up vertically from two- storied and then to three- storeyed.

In the mean time, residential facility was provided through ‘Child Care Unit’ in the year 2001 with a capacity for five girls. Over time, the number of residential students gradually increased and the hostel was named ‘Vijayini Hostel’.

The school became affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the year 2007. The school was then upgraded to the Senior Secondary level in the Science and Humanities streams. With the blessings of Revered Prabhuji, as well as sincerity and dedication of some devoted workers, the school is marching forward to accomplish Prabhuji’s dream of creating self-reliant, educated, confident and powerful individuals.
