The primary section of MAHESH SRI RAMKRISHNA ASHRAM was established on 2nd January 1952. In 1959 the school come under the WEST BENGAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION. At present Science and Arts are studies in this higher secondary school. The school is equipped with different facilities like laboratories, library, computer laboratory etc.

On 1963, it becomes a higher secondary school but due to some problems it becomes a secondary school on 1975. In present days with the help of teachers, staffs, student’s guardians we are able to fulfill our dreams. In present days Science groups and Arts groups are studies in this higher secondary school. This is start on 2005-2006 sessions under the WEST BENGAL BOARD OF EDUCATION COUNCIL. The higher secondary departments is situated in the land of Ashram, it is 3rd floor building. Here present a sufficient class rooms, and good laboratory for physical science, life science, chemistry, geography & a big Library with lots of books, common rooms, office and staff rooms.

We are glad to and thanks to local peoples, students’ guardians, students union, our old students’ members, & Rishra Municipality for their help and contribution to make our dreams fulfill.

Serampore College authorities are also helping us to maintain this higher secondary school.
