Backed by a unique combination of highly-qualified experienced and dedicated faculty members, BCREC also offers various exciting programmes like M.Tech, MBA, MCA. The institute has also earned NBA accreditation for B. Tech (ECE & CSE) disciplines.

The locational advantage of BCREC being in the industrial belt of Durgapur, has given the college immense scope for direct interaction with large industries at every level. The Industry-Institute Partnership Cell, National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell as well as Entrepreneurship Development Cell are active in this college to bring out social responsibility and industry-orientation among students.

The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) of Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College was established in the year 2004 for contemporary education essentially requires to produce best quality of Management Professionals who can speak and understand the global language of project management and connect organizations and experts worldwide.

There are many exciting steps which would further enhance the standard of education in this college like blending of academic and industrial experts for inducting managerial skills in students, R&D impetus amongst students and faculty members so as to create world-class R&D infrastructure, congenial atmosphere in the teaching-learning process with deepest commitment and dynamism and creating e-learning process for better competitiveness.
