The Chanchal Educational and Social welfare Trust, registered under relevant rules and acts, is a non profitable Trust. With a view to promote higher education in an area predominantly inhabited by Minority, OBC and SC/ST community, the members of the said Trust established the CHANCHAL B.Ed. COLLEGE in the year 2009 which got recognition from National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) to run Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) course of one year duration in the year 2012 with initial intake of 100 students. Since then, the institution successfully imparting B.Ed. Degree to students who subsequently are established in different fields of education.

The CHANCHAL B.Ed. COLLEGE, subsequently came under new NCTE Regulation-2014 and got revised recognition from NCTE to run TWO basic units of 50( fifty) students from the academic year 2015- 2016.

With a view to become a “COMPOSITE INSTITUTION” under NCTE Regulation-2014, the CHANCHAL B.Ed. COLLEGE in the year 2016 got recognition from NCTE to run the two year D.El.Ed. course as additional course with one basic unit.
