Arambagh Vivekananda Academy, the brain child of the mother body Arambagh Nivedita Trust, was established in the year 2008 by a handful of educationists like Principal of the local college, the then Chairman of the Municipality, retired Headmaster and philanthropists like surgeons, physicians and social thinkers. The need arose to fill up the vacuum in the arena of school education of the sub division and neighbouring districts. The main purpose of setting up the school is to fulfill the long-cherished dreams of thousands of parents to prepare their promising children, the cream of the coming generation.

It has been set up near Arambagh rail station but completely free from din and bustle of the town. Amidst a vast area of more than five acres of land and a spacious ground with green lush scenario the school welcomes the kids to learn everything with pleasure. In contrast with other private schools A V Academy cherishes a welfare motive quite unthinkable to the commoners.
Within a short span of seven years the Academy has become a premier institution in the area and will be the Institution in West Bengal.
