Annapurna Memorial College of Education is established in recognition to the sacred memory of Late Annapurna Manna the beloved mother of Mr. Gour Hari Manna, the founder Secretary of the college with a motto for advancement learning by conducting secondary Teachers' Training Course for the students of vast Sundarban area of South 24 Parganas. Teachers Training centers are very dearth in our State. In this context the establishment of teachers training college has become urgently needed in the interest of furtherance of education among the students of this locality.
