John Dewey has rightly said that – Education is not preparation for life, education is life itself. The AF School, Bagdogra also works on the same philosophy and with the wonderful team of teachers has proved and believes in learning by doing. The endeavour of the teachers is always to define learning as a process of progressive change from ignorance to knowledge, from inability to competence and from indifference to understanding.

If a country is to be corruption free and become a nation of beautiful minds, I strongly feel there are three key societal members who can make a difference - they are the father the mother and the teacher. With this mission we promote intellectual and spiritual values so as to become world leaders in peace & performance. Our journey with education process has been a partnership between students, teachers and parents and we believe that learning is a lifelong adventure for all. Students and teachers are challenged to exceed their own expectations. Our goal is to encourage children not to accept things at their face value but to question and develop and an inquisitive mind because like Albert Einstein we believe – Imagination is more important than knowledge. In this process we strive towards more holistic experience that synergises the growth of the head, heart and hand.
